A few days ago, in the thick of obligation I realized that I was being led by an inner voice that is harsh, a task maker and unforgiving. I had to tell that voice to go--it had helped me through stacks of work, but there are other ways. I invited another voice in--one who is compassionate, kind, funny and doesn't take everything so seriously. It allows flow--Mvto to the wise teacher who lives in all of us.

It's perceptive of you to recognize the voice that led you through accomplishment and responsibility for the job that needed done. Even more perceptive is that you were able to identify that the task-master did its job and needed to step behind and let the tender tones of your compassionate self take the lead. It's reaffirming to notice others manifesting self-awareness in a manner I aspire to, even if I don't always succeed or change my voice quickly enough. It's an ongoing joy, Joy, to vicariously share in your journey. Peace, Sandra
Thank you Joy. This post was reaffirming on a day when I had to "switch the record" playing bad vibes in my own head...
