This is Joy Harjo's ongoing journal of dreams, stories, poems, music, photographs, and assorted reports from her inner and outer travels about Indian country and the rest of the world .
Joy, The first photo that you are showing, tweaks my imagination. The one that is a prayer for Rainy, take a look at the shadows on there, I visualize the ancestors sitting, speaking to us. On the far right end, a flag flying, speaking, Blood Was Not Shed In Vain.perhaps, Spilled Blood of Ancestors spins into rubies, in the face of the sun. Enjoy this day of the New Moon. Peace, Joan
