The killings in Arizona reveal the disturbance in the heart of America. They are emblematic of society that elevates persons like Sarah Palin because she is entertaining and shocking, and because she is said to represent those who don't feel they have a voice in this country because we elected a black president. The violence mirrors the bloody takeover of this country for religious and political freedom. We must find a way.
